Body Project Gym is an independent, state-of-the-art training facility in New Ash Green, located just minutes from Longfield and at the heart of the village’s shopping centre.

The gym was created with you in mind. From equipment selection and layout, to cleanliness and atmosphere, we wanted to create a space that you would enjoy not only training at, but be welcomed at. 

At Body Project Gym, community is everything. Anyone from beginner gym goers to experienced lifters are welcome. Our coaches are on amongst the best in the industry, from transformation specialists and MNU Nutritionists, to biomechanic specialists and wellness experts; we’re here to help should you need it.

We’ve built the gym from genuine passion for what we do within the fitness industry and are always looking to level up our knowledge to enhance your training experience.

Why is the gym built this way?

We built our training space with biomechanics at the top of our priority. We keep mentioning biomechanics, so what is it exactly and why have we built Body Project Gym this way?

Biomechanics is the science of how the human body moves. It looks at motion, function and structure and at how muscles, bones, tendons and ligaments all work together during exercise.

Our owner is a biomechanics specialist. That understanding is central to every decision made about the gym; particularly when it comes to selecting equipment. 

So how does this help you and your training?

When the biomechanics of machines are considered, it will bring you better, longer term progress to your training. Biomechanically correct machines offer better motion, forces and stability while reducing strain on your joints, meaning you will get more out of your training when you use them. You will find a lot of our machines are highly adjustable to be able to fit your body and your ranges instead of static, non-adjustable machines that you may find in other gyms. 

Our aim was to build a space with the best biomehanically optimal equipment money can buy all under one roof.

Many gym’s often bulk buy the same brand due to cost or convenience. We took a different approach. No one brand does everything perfectly, which is why you will find a mix of world-class brands that focus not only on build quality here, but also correct movement patterns.
